Human Health Risks

Wild wolves generally fear people and rarely pose a threat to human safety.Washington State Wolf Conservation and Management Plan, 2011.

This assumption in the Washington State Wolf Conservation and Management plan ignores recent evidence that wolves attack and kill humans with some regularity, especially as wolf numbers increase:
